I was so excited for Honeybee Stamps‘ new 2nd Birthday release and ordered the Blah Bunny along with the Blah Blah Blah sentiments as soon as they were available. I also couldn’t pass up on the special edition Honey Jar full of the cutest sequins (the Special Edition Birthday Mix). I think this Bunny should represent all working adults on Monday Mornings 😀
The stamp pretty much stands on its own and doesn’t need much background treatment, so this was a nice opportunity to try out my new Distress Oxide Inks. I’m usually struggling getting a good, seamless, blend with the regular distress inks, but these babies really do blend like buttah 😍. To finish the card, I cut out a frame with the Avery Elle Postage Stamp Die and pop it up with some foam tape onto patterned paper and mount everything onto an A2 card base (that’s 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″)

And finally, I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops here and there. Ok, to be honest, this is what took the most time–I have the hardest time placing embellishments. Hint, hint, Online Card Classes, that would make a dandy class and I would be first in line to sign up for that!
